Architecture and History
Casa Monica Resort & Spa was built in 1888 and is one of the few remaining examples of Moorish Revival architecture in the United States. The hotel sits in St. Augustine's Historic District, within a 1-minute walk of Flagler College and a 12-minute walk of Castillo de San Marcos. Its lobby and public spaces retain original design elements, including ornate tile work and carved wood details.
